My name is Ghazal, however my American friends prefer to call me Gazelle. I really don’t look my age, but I turned 23 this November (2016). I used to study Biomedical Engineering at Amirkabir University of Technology, and now I am pursuing my master’s degree at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis. I am working as a research assistant in the school, so this makes me become more independent in my life and gain more experience toward my education. Although I am living here alone, I like my field of education and the school.

I took the TOEFL exam twice. I did better on the second try as I had taken some sessions with Saeed. My English was good, but it is necessary to learn some specific skills for the exam. Since my time was limited, I just had a chance to take 8 sessions. We did about 3 sessions for the reading and writing parts, and 5 others for the listening and speaking. My scores improved about 5 points in the second test.

I would strongly recommend Saeed as an awesome teacher and a real best friend. He told me everything I had to know to be victorious in taking my TOEFL exam and also, in my life. He guided me to think differently, and showed me ways to be successful in the test. He helped me not feel shy when I made a mistake and helped me to overcome my weaknesses. I did my best not to make a mistake in this writing, but if I have made any, this is totally not Saeed’s fault!

Nasim Dehghani July 7, 2017

Hi. I'm Nasim.

I met Saeed for the first time when I was so depressed. I talked to him about my dreams like travelling alone and my fears of pursuing them. That day after hours of talking during which I found Saeed a wise, knowledgeable, talented and indeed encouraging guy,  I returned home with a ticket for my first travel alone. That was Saeed's first inspiring role in my life.

The second time was when I was completely distressed with my incomplete Master's thesis and consequently many other incomplete works and plans. It was a nightmare and I had no idea about what I am going to do with my life, job, IELTS exam, and etc. Again there was Saeed, patient enough to hear all of my nagging and with lots of hints and pushing assurance.

I don't know when and where it is going to be the third time but I know having a friend like Saeed is a great blessing in life. He is a perfect coach, believe me!

By the way he is very smart and his general knowledge is admirable!

Ehsan Hamidi Master's student at University of Toronto, Canada July 7, 2017

This is Ehsan Hamidi, student of Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering at University of Toronto. I am 24 years old and I used to study at Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic) in Bio-Medical Engineering.

After searching for a good person to help me in preparing myself for the TOEFL exam I found Saeed Daneshmandi as the best guy who could help me achieve my goals in developing my English. I was not professional in English but around upper intermediate level.

I found Saeed as the most serious and the most kind English teacher that I have experienced. A teacher with a diligent spirit of teaching and a friend with the patience that makes you feel perfect in the classes.

All in all, he had a really great role in developing my language skills and I recommend him for any student in any level who wants to get educated in English.

Shahrzad Ghazi Ph.D. student at McGill, Canada July 7, 2017

This is Shahrzad Ghazisaeidi. I am 27 years old. I am a former student of University of Tehran and Royan Institute. Currently I am a PhD student in Experimental Medicine at McGill University, Montreal, Canada.

I took IELTS exam once on the 21st of November, 2015.

Sharhzad's IELTS Scores
Reading (9) Listening (9) Speaking (9) Writing (9) Overall (9)
8.5 7.5 7 6.5 7.5

My level of English before the classes was good, but my self-confidence for expressing it was awful! And in IELTS it's all about showing your skills, but thankfully Saeed makes it simpler! Yes, Simply Saeed!

The classes were amazing. Saeed is one of the smartest people I have ever seen. From the first session he realised that my major problem was about the confidence. He showed me many useful ways to overcome this fear. The other great thing about him is that he follows you up to ensure you are doing the right thing.

If you are so dumb that you need somebody to put stuff into your mind, forget about Saeed. To be more transparent forget about the applying procedure. English exams are the first of many challenges in the way to studying abroad. If you can not handle it and you need somebody to study for you, it is better to stay where you are.

But if you are determined and your goals are clearly defined, and you need a help, a coach to show you the way or push you hard when you are disappointed, you should definitely call Saeed. He is going to be the fantastic coach, most knowledgeable tutor and a reliable friend during the hardest time of your life.

PS: Do not forget the fact that he grew up in the UK and he is kind of a native speaker!

Amir Seyed Bachelor's Graduate from AmirKabir University July 7, 2017

I’m Amir, a B.Sc. graduate of Amirkabir University in Biomedical Engineering. During the four years of undergraduate studies my plan was taking the Master's degree and then applying for a Ph.D. program in a university in the US. But almost two years ago, when I’d finished my B.Sc. studies, I suddenly changed my mind due to some personal problems and decided not to pursue my graduate studies in Iran, never ever!

I suppose it was in October, so all I could do was register for the last exam dates which could help me meet the deadlines. I registered for both TOEFL and GRE exams on two consecutive days, the 6th and 7th of December. So I had less than 2 months to get ready for two exams which I used to know absolutely nothing about. Two of my close friends, Leila and Armin, who were in USA by that time and had had English classes with Saeed previously, suggested that I take some private English classes with him. As I mentioned I didn't have enough time to go through a long-term preparation study for the exams, so I took 6 or 7 semi-private TOEFL classes with Saeed and started to work on the TPOs meanwhile.

My score on the very first TPOs I took was about 22 for Listening and Reading parts. Practicing the techniques Saeed told me, I managed to improve my skills rapidly. Saeed taught me some useful techniques for TOEFL and gave me some valuable hints for both TOEFL and GRE. He also encouraged me a lot and gave me confidence to face the exams. Those classes not only helped me to take the exams but also improved my English skills generally. Before taking TOEFL I’d been studying English for almost 4 years, but after the exams I felt like my English knowledge had doubled. My scores were 312 for GRE (overall), 145 in verbal, 167 in quantitative and 3 in writing which was satisfying for me. I also did a good job in three skills of TOEFL. My overall TOEFL score was 100, 30 in Listening, 27 in Reading (note that at the very first steps I couldn’t get more than 22 or 23 in these sections on TPOs), and 24 in Writing. The only problem which I had with my TOEFL exam was the Speaking part where I got 19! I suppose it was due to my limited time for study and the fact that except for those 6 or 7 classes, I had no feedback on my practice on the Speaking part to enhance it.

Amir's Exam Results
Reading (30) Listening (30) Speaking (30) Writing (30)  Overall (120)
27 30 19 24 100
Analytical Writing (6) Verbal Reasoning (170) Quantitative Reasoning (170) Overall (340)
3 145 167 312

All in all I strongly recommend Saeed as a good, up-to-date, motivating English teacher who has a huge amount of knowledge and experience in the field of English language and knows very well how to use them in a proper, student-specific way to help his students achieve what they want.

Aydin Jalali Master's student & Research Assistant at IUPUI, USA July 7, 2017

Hey guys,
I'm Aydin, and I'm 22 years old. I'm getting my Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering at IUPUI, and I'm a Research Assistant. I got my Bachelor's degree at the Amirkabir University of Technology.

I took the TOEFL exam, and my total score was 98. I've scored 22 in reading, 26 in listening, 22 in speaking and 28 in writing section.

Aydin's TOEFL iBT Scores
Reading (30) Listening (30) Speaking (30) Writing (30) Overall (120)
22 26 22 28 98

Before the class, I really had no clue about the speaking and writing sections. I didn't know what to say or write or if there was any rule. I took a trial TOEFL test at Amirbahador Institute before I went to Saeed's class. I scored 17 in the speaking section and 23 in the writing. I remember that I didn't speak at all in one of the speaking parts. I was so stressed out and didn't have any confidence.

When I took the class with Saeed, he was so chill and relaxed. He told me that I could speak well and all I needed to do was to get out of my head and learn some structures. He taught me how to manage my time and how to state my opinion in a better manner. Also, he taught me how I could brainstorm better in that limited time. The same goes for the writing section too. He taught me what the examiners are looking for. By correcting my essays and giving his opinions about them, he showed me how I could get a better score in the writing section by just changing little things and adding some structure.
In conclusion, I believe Saeed knows what he is doing. Also, he builds a very friendly environment in the class that makes you feel more relaxed about the exam and also helps you to improve faster. He understands what "you" need the most to get a better score. I improved my score from 88 to 98 in 8 sessions, so I totally recommend him as a teacher.
Hope you guys do well in your exam and achieve what you deserve.

Nika Taghdiri Student & research associate at UCLA July 6, 2017

Hi. I'm Nika Taghdiri, 24 (2017). I studied Biomedical engineering in Amirkabir University of Technology back in Iran. Currently I study at UCLA and work as a research associate.

I took TOEFL exam twice and I did better on the second go.

Nika's TOEFL iBT Scores
Reading (30) Listening (30) Speaking (30) Writing (30) Overall (120)
24 25 25 23 97

Before the test, at first I felt overwhelmed about the whole thing, but with Saeed's strategy, the pressure was relieved. I think I was at intermediate level for most tasks. But now I can surely say my level can be considered advanced. Compared to other examinees when they asked me about certain sections,I knew all the materials. But personally, I'm always overwhelmed about any exams 😀

Saeed sat and took the most difficult sections with us. He sent compositions of everything he taught us via email. So it kept me right on track.

Of course I'd recommend Saeed as a teacher. Besides all the beneficial material he recommended, which were so interesting, with high numbers of students who take this exam, it felt relieving to have a great friend by your side in the whole process. He asked us how we were doing and feeling about homework. He cares about his students, and that's the important feature which every teacher should carry.

Best wishes,

Hossein Don-Esfahani Master's student at Politecnico di Torino, Italy July 6, 2017

My name is Hossein, and I am a student of Masters in Politecnico di Torino, Italy.

I took the TOEFL iBT test in February 2016, and the result turned out to be great! Before taking the test I had a coaching session with Saeed in which he mentioned some great points and gave me great hints on how to take the test. My overall score was 116 (out of 120) and the scores for each section were: Reading 29, Listening 30, Speaking 28, and Writing 29.

Apart from being great in English and having mad English skills (I must also mention his great accent), Saeed is a great person too; his vast general knowledge, the stories he has to tell, his humor and wit, and his awesome fun personality, makes a great teacher out of him. So, to whoever is reading this, I would definitely recommend to take Saeed as your teacher.
